How to Score Your Game


If you play all your pieces, you cover 2x89 = 178 squares.
If you have some pieces left over, you subtract their total squares from 178 to arrive at your score.

Here are two ways to do that.
Either way you should arrive at the same total, and it's not a bad idea to do it two ways to check!

In the "Addition Method", you add up the squares of the left over pieces and subtract the total from 178.   In the "Subtraction Method", you subtract each piece individually from 178.
